In 2016, Professional Engineers Ontario implemented Momentive Aptify for member and document management. The deployment used Momentive Aptify as the Association Management platform to centralize membership records, CRM workflows, and document attachment handling across the Ontario and Canada organization. Implementation concentrated on Aptify modules for member management and document management, with configuration to surface attachment metadata and link documents into CRM processes to support membership services and records access.
To address growing attachment volumes, Professional Engineers Ontario worked with the Aptify team to integrate Momentive Aptify with SharePoint as an innovation award project. The integration offloaded attachment storage to SharePoint while preserving seamless file access from Momentive Aptify, creating a hybrid architecture that reduced storage use and improved Aptify performance for the Ontario and Canada organization. Operationally the integration maintained CRM-linked document workflows and user access through Aptify interfaces, while shifting bulk storage and document repository responsibilities to SharePoint as part of the organizations document management approach.
