In 2020 Protix implemented Elvy Invoice Processing as its AP Automation solution. The deployment was centered in the HQ finance department in Dongen, Netherlands, and configured to manage supplier invoice intake and approval workflows across the companys legal entities. Elvy Invoice Processing was configured to provide standard AP Automation capabilities, including automated invoice capture and OCR, routed approval workflows, and invoice validation and exception handling to support finance and business approvers. Configuration work focused on aligning invoice routing and approval thresholds with existing purchase and booking practices, and on integrating automated posting workflows to reduce manual intervention during month end. The implementation was integrated into Protixs existing finance stack, linking Elvy Invoice Processing with Exact for ledger postings, with LucaNet for consolidation inputs, and with Declaree for employee reimbursement alignment. Sumatra was included in the footprint as part of the broader document and finance toolset, and Elvy output feeds were surfaced to Microsoft Power BI via the firms Power BI service for operational reporting and management visibility. Operational governance and ownership were assigned to the HQ finance organization, with the assistant controller and finance staff maintaining configurations and financial bookings in all entities, and supporting fiscal unity VAT declaration workflows. Rollout emphasized embedding Elvy Invoice Processing into month end accounting routines and into the firms established booking and approval controls.
