| iCIMS | Legacy | iCIMS Recruit Applicant Tracking System | Applicant Tracking System | HCM | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021 Providence Medical Center deployed iCIMS Recruit Applicant Tracking System to centralize recruiting and talent acquisition. The iCIMS Recruit Applicant Tracking System is implemented on the Providence Medical Center website to capture applications from the career portal and to serve Applicant Tracking System functions for the organization.
The implementation focuses on core Applicant Tracking System capabilities, including applicant tracking, requisition management, career site integration, automated candidate communications, interview scheduling, and compliance reporting. Configuration emphasizes role based workflows for recruiters and hiring managers, configurable job requisition templates, and standardized candidate status orchestration to support clinical and non clinical hiring processes.
The deployment is integrated directly with the hospital career site to collect candidate submissions and to manage job postings and application flows. The implementation is positioned to exchange candidate and requisition data with downstream HR systems, onboarding processes, and background screening workflows as typical for an Applicant Tracking System deployment, while preserving data required for regulatory and EEO reporting.
Governance design centers on centralized requisition approval steps, role based access controls for recruiter and hiring manager functions, and structured audit trails for compliance. Operational coverage addresses enterprise hiring needs across Providence Medical Center, with the system configured to support cross functional staffing workflows and standardized hiring governance.

| eClinicalWorks | Legacy | eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR | Electronic Health Record | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2012 | 2012 |
In 2012 Providence Medical Center deployed eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR as the primary Electronic Health Record across two hospitals and nine clinics. The eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR implementation acted as the regional clinical platform supporting ambulatory and hospital-facing workflows for physicians, nursing, and business office staff.
The implementation included configuration and administration of core eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR modules for front and back office operations, ambulatory EHR optimization, revenue cycle management reporting, patient portal, direct messaging, telehealth, and Dragon dictation. The program included system administration duties such as creating access and securities, provisioning vendor access for patient care workflows, and hands-on training for physicians, staff, and leadership, with the lead analyst and trainer covering eCW and concurrent Epic go-live activities.
Integrations and information exchange were executed with State of Kansas reporting channels and the Kansas Health Information Network for statewide and nationwide continuity of care, with the analyst serving as liaison between local facilities and the EMR vendor to configure interfaces. Operational reporting was built and scheduled for the Regional Business Office and a third-party billing and collections agency, and business office reports were generated to align eCW Revenue Cycle Management processes with local physician practice billing needs.
Governance and rollout were managed through IT project leadership for four Kansas and Missouri hospitals, with weekly IT leadership meetings to track regional project progress and monthly IT Steering Committee delivery of project metrics. Upgrade and go-live processes were coordinated end to end, including environment testing, data migration, laptop upgrades, scheduled downtime coordination, command center establishment, super user facilitation, and the orchestration of training schedules for front office, physicians, and business office teams.
Security and compliance controls were enforced through regular account security audits to ensure HIPAA adherence, a formal process to receive System Access Request Forms from HR for onboarding, and escalation of anomalies to the security officer for remediation. Ongoing on-site clinic support, scheduled optimization efforts, and maintained communication with direct reports and C-suite leaders sustained operational governance for the eClinicalWorks Cloud EHR deployment.

| Microsoft | Legacy | Microsoft BI (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server Reporting) | Analytics and BI | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, Providence Medical Center implemented Microsoft BI (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server Reporting) as an Analytics and BI deployment to standardize enterprise ETL and reporting capabilities for business users. The Microsoft BI (SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, SQL Server Reporting) implementation focused on delivering parameterized and linked SSRS reports, dashboard and gauge visualizations, and multidimensional analytics through SSAS for tabular and MDX-based query scenarios.
The implementation included detailed ETL design and configuration, with source to target mappings, transformations, lookups, aggregations and expressions implemented in SSIS. SSIS jobs were used to import flat files and to consolidate data from heterogeneous sources, specifically DB2, Access and Excel, into SQL Server tables. SSAS work covered storage and partitioning strategies, aggregation design and MDX calculations, while SSRS work included table, chart and matrix report layouts and report serving architecture.
Architecture and integrations reflected a SQL Server centric stack, including deployment of Always On availability groups on servers migrated to SQL 2014 and construction of a new SQL 2014 server. Reporting services were deployed and reports were published using Report Manager and integrated with Microsoft SharePoint 2010 for report access and delivery. Tableau Desktop was also used to review and edit SQL queries, connecting to live, dynamic and static datasets as part of the broader reporting workflow.
Governance and operational workflows emphasized close interaction between technical teams and business users, translating business requirements into technical requirements and documenting ETL process designs. The rollout combined server-level availability configuration, SSRS report deployment, and established ETL and reporting documentation to support ongoing report development and performance tuning using Index Tuning Wizard, SQL Profiler and Query Analyzer.
