Cognos Impromptu was integrated as the reporting layer to deliver statutory, regulatory and ad hoc management reports.
Operational coverage included SEBI and regulatory reporting, fund management and cash forecasting, and investment of AMC surplus in line with the investment charter. The system supported workflows for expense authorization, payments processing, dealer incentives and brokerage accounting, and it was used to coordinate statutory, internal and compliance audits.
Governance and process restructuring accompanied the technical rollout, with finance leadership establishing a risk management framework, standardized accounting policies and disclosure practices to meet regulatory requirements. A senior finance executive led the program, aligning chart of accounts, approval hierarchies and reporting templates to Infor SunSystems and to the companys compliance framework.
