In 2019, Prudential deployed Oracle E-Business Suite as its ERP Financial platform for core procurement and finance operations. The Oracle E-Business Suite implementation targeted a domestic procurement unit with over 20,000 employees and supported international rollouts across Japan, Taiwan, Korea, India, Mexico, and Europe.
Implemented functional modules included iExpense with a mobile app, iProcurement with extensive customizations to align with Prudential sourcing and procurement processes, iSupplier onboarding and punchout support, and contingent labor with contractor time entry. The program managed major Oracle E-Business Suite version upgrades from 11i to 12.1.3 and from 12.1.3 to 12.2.6, performed without third party support.
Architectural and technical components recorded in the environment included Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Application Framework OAF, Java and PL/SQL customizations, Workflow, Web Services, XML Gateway, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Exadata and Oracle RAC database, OBIEE for analytics, and Siteminder for authentication. Integrations were implemented between Oracle E-Business Suite and Apttus on the Salesforce platform for contract management, IBM Tririga for real estate and facilities management, and OBIEE connected to a Spend Analytics tool, while vendor onboarding and punchout processes used the OSN platform.
Operational governance covered vendor onboarding coordination with procurement teams, customization governance to enforce Prudential internal standards and processes, and management and mentoring of onsite and offshore development teams. The Oracle E-Business Suite deployment supported procurement, sourcing, vendor management, finance, contingent labor and facilities management business functions at Prudential.

In 2019, Prudential implemented Workday Absence Management. The Workday Absence Management deployment supported Prudential's global Absence and Leave Management needs and required coordination between seven teams to ensure punctual delivery of system changes and enhancements.
Prudential configured Workday Absence Management alongside its broader payroll, time and absence activities, with project work focused on system testing, business requirement review, and iterative delivery of enhancements. Delivery followed an Agile methodology, with teams running sprint cycles to scope, test and implement projects related to Workday payroll and time and absence functional workflows.
The implementation was executed as part of Prudential's global Workday payroll and time and absence ecosystem, covering countries including Brazil, Japan, Singapore, Mexico, Argentina, Ireland, Canada, Germany, UK and France. Prudential collaborated with internal teams and Alight to discover and deliver solution approaches, preserving integration alignment across payroll and time accounting processes within the Workday environment.
Governance was realized through a maintained solution vision, roadmap and backlog of work that guided the project life cycle, with coordinated testing and delivery responsibilities distributed across seven teams. Operational ownership emphasized ongoing backlog management and iterative releases to sustain Absence and Leave Management configuration and controls within Prudential's Workday footprint.

Functional capabilities implemented included schedule optimization, dispatch orchestration, work order and service appointment management, and mobile field connectivity for technicians. Automation and rule based scheduling were applied to enforce priority and skill matching while maintaining service windows and compliance with internal scheduling controls.
Operational coverage targeted Prudentials field operations and service delivery teams, embedding scheduling governance into daily dispatch and service planning processes. Salesforce Field Service (ex ClickSoftware) was used to centralize scheduling policies and operational controls, supporting workforce coordination and on site execution. The described implementation explicitly delivered a more intelligent and productive on site service experience as part of the Field Service Management rollout.
