The architecture emphasized automated order-to-production workflows and centralized customer data to improve coordination between sales and operations. Governance changes included centralizing customer master data and standardizing order processing workflows to support sales planning and operational coordination. The project delivered a 360° customer view, faster and more efficient ordering for distributors, and improved sales planning and operational efficiency as stated.
