The deployment used Bellwether AP Automation (OCR) as an Intelligent Document Processing solution to centralize invoice intake and drive automated invoice validation for accounts payable and purchasing functions. The implementation configured three way matching and invoice capture workflows, leveraging OCR based document ingestion and data extraction aligned to standard A P processing rules. Bellwether AP Automation (OCR) was applied to invoice routing, matching, and automated A P posting routines as part of the accounts payable operational stack. Integration work included an A P interface to Lawson to push validated invoice records into the finance system, preserving posting and vendor payment flows. Operational coverage was focused on Quickchek’s corporate support center in the United States and impacted purchasing and accounts payable business functions through centralized processing and system to system posting. Governance and process changes emphasized automated matching and ERP interfacing to reduce manual intervention in invoice processing. The implementation sped invoice processing and improved on time vendor payments as reported by the case study, reflecting tighter invoice validation and a direct A P interface to Lawson.
