The project model used internal Financial System Specialists working with external consultants to set up and maintain Intapp upload processes, and ongoing support channels included email, phone, and MS Teams for troubleshooting and user requests.
Governance for Intapp Time was centered in the finance and practice management teams, with Financial System Specialists owning configuration, reporting, and coordination of uploads into billing and expense systems. Thomson Reuters Elite 3E was configured to address matter management, time and billing, and financial management functions typical of Legal Practice Management platforms. Configuration work focused on matter hierarchies, billing rate structures, role based access controls, and automated interfaces for time and fee capture consistent with professional services finance workflows.
Operational coverage for the implementation was tied to a newly created Training Department responsible for onboarding and continuous learning across roughly 1700 employees domestically. The IT Training Manager launched a learning management system, designed new hire onboarding processes, developed training curriculum for upcoming projects, and provided day to day oversight to drive adoption of Thomson Reuters Elite 3E while collaborating with senior directors on product delivery.
Governance for the program emphasized training led adoption, vendor relationship ownership, and cross functional coordination between IT, finance, and practice groups. Responsibility for budget and forecasting of training activities was retained within the Training Department, which also acted as liaison between firm employees and the Thomson Reuters Elite 3E vendor to support rollout and ongoing enablement.
