In 2021 R Collection Hotels implemented Baramundi Management Suite as its primary Endpoint Management platform to standardize device provisioning and lifecycle management across the group. The deployment targeted an approximately 200 employee environment with centralized operations coordinated from the main operational headquarters in Misinto and device servicing across group facilities throughout Italy.
The Baramundi Management Suite implementation emphasized agent based inventory, software distribution and packaging, patch management, operating system deployment and imaging, remote control and support, mobile device management, and policy driven configuration management. Baramundi Management Suite was configured to enforce configuration baselines, automate software rollouts, and maintain an authoritative hardware and software asset inventory consistent with Endpoint Management best practices.
Operational integration was aligned with the hotels IT stack, Baramundi Management Suite was configured to integrate with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 for device enrollment, authentication and policy assignment, and the IT organization retained coordination with network teams responsible for Fortinet firewall programming and Zyxel switch configuration. Governance was implemented through the internal technical team, with the IT technician role responsible for packaging and deployment workflows, scheduled patching windows, role based access controls for administrators, and traveling to group sites to support staged rollouts and day to day operational tasks.
