| Xero | Legacy | Xero | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015, Rabobank Australia & New Zealand provisioned direct bank feed connectivity into Xero, executing an ERP Financial integration to deliver daily transaction feeds for Australasian customers. The implementation targeted Rabobank accounts created in Xero with the bank name set to Rabobank (NZ) or Rabobank (AU), and it established an application workflow that issues an authority form customers complete to authorize daily feeds.
The Xero integration supported transactional account types including All-in-One and cheque accounts, while RaboDirect feeds were explicitly excluded from scope. Xero ingests these direct feeds into its accounting and bank reconciliation workflows, enabling automatic transaction posting and cash management processes consistent with ERP Financial functional patterns.
Operationally the deployment was regional, covering Rabobank Australasia customers, and was delivered as part of a phased rollout with Rabobank completing technical support activities and an expectation that feeds would come online in September 2015. The implementation coexisted with Xero’s broader connectivity model, preserving access to thousands of other banks through Xero’s ongoing integration with Yodlee, creating a hybrid model of direct feeds plus aggregated feeds.
Governance for the feed rollout relied on a customer-driven application process and signed authority forms, creating a documented consent and onboarding workflow. Xero also signaled a programmatic expansion of direct bank feeds over the subsequent 12 months, and encouraged customers to engage their banks to request direct feed support.

Configuration work emphasized HR data models, approval flows, and workflow orchestration for hiring, internal moves, and terminations consistent with Core HR functional patterns.
Delivery and operations were organized around an agile model with a Scrum master and a DevOps team coordinating development sprints and production support. Governance included iterative release cycles, structured transport and change control between HR process owners and the DevOps team, and role based access controls to enforce HR segregation of duties.
Operational ownership rested with HR and People teams across the Australia and New Zealand footprint, while the DevOps team maintained platform availability and deployment automation. The narrative centers on SAP HCM for Core HR, highlighting an agile, DevOps enabled implementation approach and the consolidation of core HR functional modules.

| Temenos | Legacy | Temenos T24 | Core Banking | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018, Rabobank Australia & New Zealand implemented Temenos T24 as its Core Banking application as part of a multi-stream Future Tech program. The program ran from July 2017 to May 2019, employed a 200 person team and was budgeted at $50 million over two years to deliver a next generation digital banking service across Australia and New Zealand.
The Temenos T24 deployment focused on core ledger, deposit, lending and transaction processing capabilities consistent with Core Banking functional expectations, and was delivered alongside new customer-facing channels. Parallel streams delivered new online and mobile banking using BackBase, a Customer Relationship and Business Process Management platform using Pega, and a Master Data Management system using Informatica, establishing a cohesive operational stack for customer and product data.
The implementation ran on a new cloud-based infrastructure built with OpenStack and included an API management framework using Google Apigee and a security framework using Pirean. These integrations connected Temenos T24 to digital channels, CRM and data services, enabling real-time transaction flows and centralized master data for downstream services and channel orchestration.
Program governance was formalized with a Program Management capability that encompassed financial and status reporting, resource management, risk and issue management, schedule management, vendor and procurement management, and overall program coordination reporting to the Chief Operating Officer. The program delivered a unified Temenos T24 Core Banking foundation integrated with channel, data and API platforms to support retail and digital banking operations across the banks Australia and New Zealand footprint.
