The implementation emphasized procurement to pay transaction flows, inventory management capabilities to monitor product levels, and reporting capabilities for weekly and monthly S and OP processes.
Operational coverage in practice included Supply and Demand Planning, Commercial, Sourcing and Product Development stakeholders who used SAP ERP ECC 6.0 for ordering recommendations, container optimisation input, and routine purchasing transactions. Governance was structured around a monthly Supply and Demand Planning cadence, continuous improvement initiatives for planning processes, and preparation of S and OP reports for business management.
