| ConnX | Legacy | ConnX Leave Management | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2004 | 2005 |
In 2004, Ray White implemented ConnX Leave Management to address paper-based leave processes and inaccurate payroll reporting. The ConnX Leave Management deployment served as Ray White’s Absence and Leave Management solution and moved leave intake and approvals to an online workflow to provide more timely workforce data.
The implementation included the base leave management module together with Self Service, Timesheets, Workflow Forms, and Core HR functionality. ConnX Leave Management was configured to support complex approval structures, the ability to toggle functionality on and off, automatic routing of leave requests to managers, and online access to leave history and personal detail updates.
Operational coverage extended to Ray White locations across Australia with staff and managers using the self service interface for submitting and approving leave. The system reduced manual workload in payroll by ensuring leave requests were captured and approved online, which produced more accurate and up-to-date payroll inputs and eliminated the need to file approved paper requests.
Governance and rollout used a centralized configuration approach, with communications to staff via email and ongoing vendor support during adoption. Explicit outcomes reported by payroll leadership included substantial time savings during payroll processing, improved data accuracy, and the elimination of manual entry of between 50 and 60 leave requests per pay cycle.
