In 2025, RealCold will deploy Blue Yonder WMS (ex JDA WMS) to standardize and scale warehouse operations across its national cold chain network. The project is being implemented by netLogistiK and targets RealCold’s existing five high throughput facilities while supporting two planned facilities in Florida and Texas opening in early 2025 and a New Jersey location scheduled for Q1 2026, reflecting a rollout designed to accommodate rapid site onboarding and expansion.
The Blue Yonder WMS implementation configures Warehouse Management capabilities to address temperature sensitive inventory control, order fulfillment workflows ranging from high volume case pick to direct to consumer delivery, and configurable warehouse processes. The deployment emphasizes customizable workflows and expansive configuration settings, and will surface intelligent insights through built in analytics to improve productivity and operational performance.
Integration activity is focused on streamlined system integrations with RealCold’s existing technology and infrastructure to provide end to end visibility across receiving, storage, value added services, and outbound fulfillment. The program scope includes accelerated onboarding for new customer operations and instrumenting operational telemetry to increase accuracy, efficiency, and customer service levels across the network.
Governance and operational changes are driven by NetlogistiK led implementation methodology, with standardized configuration templates and workflow governance to support multi customer requirements and scaling. Explicit outcomes called out by RealCold and Blue Yonder include faster start up times for new customer operations, improved visibility into warehouse processes, and the ability to leverage data driven insights to support ongoing productivity and performance improvements.
