Architecturally the program established interfaces between SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and the existing SCM instance to enable Forecast and Replenishment coordination, synchronizing demand signals and replenishment triggers between systems. Integration work concentrated on record level master data alignment and transactional handoffs between ECC and SCM to support replenishment orchestration.
Operational scope covered merchandising, supply chain planning and finance functional areas, with master data governance and merchandising workflow controls instituted to standardize item and hierarchy definitions across systems. SAP Functional Consultant roles were embedded in the Forecast and Replenishment project to sustain master data processes and to manage ECC SCM interfacing responsibilities.
