In 2018, Renta Group implemented Rillion AP Automation to centralize accounts payable workflows and establish a programmatic AP Automation capability. Rillion AP Automation was positioned to automate invoice capture, approval routing, and payment preparation as part of the company’s efforts to standardize financial operations.
The deployment configured core AP modules common to the AP Automation category, including automated invoice capture and validation, multi-step approval workflows, and purchase order matching to enforce purchase-to-pay controls. Configuration emphasized alignment between invoice processing and procurement gating to reduce manual reconciliation between purchase orders and supplier invoices.
The implementation explicitly incorporated purchases executed through Palette’s procurement system, establishing an operational integration point between Rillion AP Automation and Palette to link procurement ordering with invoice processing. Operational coverage focused on finance and procurement functions within Renta Group in Finland, supporting concurrent projects and rapid business growth that required both invoice processing and purchase order controls.
Governance workstreams standardized approval thresholds and purchase-to-pay workflows to support cross-functional use during periods of expansion, embedding process controls in the AP Automation instance. Rillion AP Automation and the Palette integration together created a coordinated purchase-to-pay architecture to manage invoices and purchases through linked systems.

In 2023, Renta Group implemented Hilti ON!Track as its Enterprise Asset Management solution to instrument and manage construction equipment across its rental network. The deployment targeted more than 170 depots across the Nordics and established a single source of telemetry for fleet utilisation and maintenance planning.
The implementation used Hilti Runtime Bluetooth tags to capture usage and location telemetry, and configured Hilti ON!Track to maintain an asset inventory, usage histories, geolocation records, and utilisation dashboards. Configuration emphasized asset-level telemetry ingestion, tag lifecycle management, and maintenance scheduling workflows consistent with Enterprise Asset Management practices.
Operational integration routed ON!Track telemetry into Renta’s ERP and Renta’s customer-facing app, enabling inventory reconciliation, maintenance work order triggers, and customer visibility of equipment location and status. The scope covered depot operations, fleet management teams, maintenance groups, and customer service functions across Renta’s Nordic sites.
Rollout was executed as a site instrumentation program across Nordic depots with standardized tagging and data governance to support consistent telemetry and asset master data. Hilti ON!Track delivered improved utilisation visibility and enabled new value added services by feeding operational and customer channels with real time asset location and usage data.
