OpenText Legacy OpenText Vibe (ex Micro Focus Vibe) Collaboration Collaboration n/a 2012 2012
In 2012 Richardson International implemented OpenText Vibe (ex Micro Focus Vibe) under a Collaboration use case as an intranet and secure file sharing and collaboration platform. The Vibe deployment was positioned to support a highly decentralized agribusiness spanning Canada, and it was integrated with GroupWise to maintain unified messaging and authentication across distributed sites. The implementation, branded internally as "Connect", delivered intranet publishing, secure file sharing and document management capabilities alongside purpose built web apps for time management, printer deployment and global workspaces to accelerate onboarding. OpenText Vibe provided workspace orchestration and secure collaboration features that enabled partner and customer collaboration workflows and hosted shared team spaces. Operational scope covered cross functional use by operations, HR and IT teams to support onboarding, time related workflows and device provisioning in a distributed environment across Canada. The deployment focused on centralizing collaboration and reducing operational costs while improving partner and customer collaboration, consistent with an intranet and secure file sharing Collaboration implementation.
