FIS Global Legacy FIS Integrated Payables AP Automation ERP n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, Russell Sigler implemented FIS Integrated Payables as an AP Automation solution to accelerate conversion of paper checks to electronic payments and enable virtual card processing. The deployment focused on payment orchestration and vendor enrollment within the accounts payable function. FIS Integrated Payables provided virtual card issuance and rebate capture, vendor enrollment and inbound inquiry handling, outsourced check printing and mailing, and payment routing capabilities aligned with AP Automation workflows. The configuration addressed a prior high volume of manual check production that had been generating roughly 300 checks per week. Operational coverage centered on Russell Sigler's accounts payable organization in the United States, with the FIS vendor team taking on ongoing vendor management and inbound inquiries so internal AP staff could prioritize reconciliation, controls, and higher value activities. A portion of payments were migrated to virtual cards and electronic rails while check printing and mailing was outsourced to the FIS service. Reported outcomes include achieving ROI in the first 30 days, earning monthly rebates, improved operational efficiencies, outsourced check printing and mailing, and increased vendor satisfaction. Andy Abbott, Assistant Controller at Russell Sigler Incorporated, said virtual card rebates more than offset check printing costs and allowed the AP department to generate revenue that contributes to the company bottom line.

Front Legacy FrontApp Collaboration Collaboration n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, Russell Sigler implemented FrontApp as its chosen Collaboration application to centralize team-managed external communications across its distribution business. The deployment targeted an organization of approximately 583 employees and focused on consolidating shared mailboxes and conversational workflows used by customer service and operations teams. FrontApp was configured to provide shared inboxes, unified conversation threads that combine email and messaging, routing and assignment workflows, collision detection, canned responses and templates, and automation rules to handle repetitive message flows. Configuration emphasized role based access controls, mailbox ownership, tagging and customizable views to align FrontApp with existing operational processes and support collaborative response workflows. Rollout followed a phased approach with governance protocols established for mailbox ownership, escalation paths, and message handling policies, accompanied by training for team inbox management and routing procedures. FrontApp in the Collaboration category was documented as the central tool for consolidating team email and collaborative customer communication at Russell Sigler.

DocuSign Legacy DocuSign eSignature Digital Signing Content Management n/a 2022 2022
In 2022, Russell Sigler deployed DocuSign eSignature as their Digital Signing solution. The implementation embeds DocuSign eSignature on the public website to capture legally binding signatures for customer-facing documents, addressing order agreements and contract execution workflows tied to distribution operations. The deployment leverages embedded signing capabilities of DocuSign eSignature along with template-driven document generation, envelope management, recipient authentication, and the standard signing ceremony to standardize signature workflows. Integration is implemented directly on the website, with server-side calls to create and track envelopes and to surface signing status to internal order and customer service processes, while governance was oriented around centralized template control, role-based administration, and audit trail retention provided by the application.
