These integrations supported end to end posting and reporting flows, supplier invoice match and payment information exchanges between the AP Automation layer and downstream finance systems. Governance and operational changes centered on a centralized AP processing model, requirement gathering and data analysis led by accounts staff, and liaison between department managers, external vendors and senior stakeholders. Controls emphasized structured approval workflows and executive reporting, with Accounts Assistant roles handling invoice processing, payment runs and reconciliation while producing management reports for the executive team.

Role-level responsibilities recorded for an Assistant Accountant at Rydges Sydney Harbour during January 2020 to April 2020 included assisting with Ascender Preceda system setup for payroll and accounting, performing weekly payroll, preparing monthly BAS and balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting budgeting and cash flow processes, illustrating close operational coupling between HR payroll and finance at the hotel level. Governance and rollout were executed with hotel finance oversight, the Assistant Accountant reporting to the Financial Controller during the hotel opening, and a focus on standardizing processes and procedures.
