In 2015, Sabio implemented Certinia Financial Management, an ERP Financial application. The implementation built on work conducted from 2013 to 2015 by a Project Financial Manager who played a key role in deploying FinancialForce Professional Services Automation, a cloud based services solution on Salesforce, to manage projects, financials, performance and resources.
Configuration and functional scope focused on project financial management, time and expense recording, and management information reporting, using Certinia Financial Management and FinancialForce Professional Services Automation as the primary financial and services platforms. The Project Financial Manager administered Salesforce and FinancialForce on a day to day basis, handling user and licence management, user access and permissions, daily process execution, data configuration and system housekeeping.
Operational workflows included managing all project financial activities inside FinancialForce with routine data export to Microsoft Excel for manipulation and analysis, and designing reports and dashboards to surface status of project activities, milestones, deliverables, utilisation and performance. The implementation linked financial accounting and project delivery functions, impacting project management, finance and resource management processes.
Governance work included creating and introducing new business processes to enable the transition of project financial management and reporting into the ERP Financial stack, configuring and loading system data, and reviewing analytics to identify and recommend performance improvements. Day to day administration responsibilities indicate an ongoing operational model for system housekeeping and licence governance.

In 2016 Sabio implemented IRIS CascadeHR as its Core HR application to centralize HR recordkeeping and employee lifecycle management for roughly 1,100 employees across the United Kingdom, Europe and Singapore. The deployment focused on establishing IRIS CascadeHR as the primary Core HR platform supporting HR case management, onboarding and offboarding, and contract creation for senior and executive staff.
Sabio configured IRIS CascadeHR with custom screens and modular forms and introduced workflow automation to streamline recruitment, approvals and employee changes. The HRIS configuration work included creation and design of new modules and templates that supported end to end recruitment activities, grievances and disciplinary case tracking, family friendly case handling, and management of long term sickness and absence workflows.
Operational integration emphasized cross‑function collaboration rather than specific vendor linkages, improving data handoffs and process alignment between HR, Payroll, Finance and IT teams, and aligning IRIS CascadeHR outputs with SharePoint based intranet improvements. The HR team used IRIS CascadeHR to generate MI and HR analytics for the executive board, and continued to operate parallel tools for employee engagement and appraisal, including TinyPulse for the newly implemented performance appraisal process and annual Towers Watson benchmarking for compensation guidance.
Governance and rollout centered on HR business partnering and manager enablement, with targeted training, workshops and upskilling of HR colleagues and line managers on the HR system and related processes. Outcomes documented by internal stakeholders include the launch of Sabio’s first apprenticeship program, a company wide adoption of the new appraisal process, optimization of the HR software through new screens and workflow automation, and formal recognition from the executive board for improved performance management and dispute reduction.
