| SAP | Legacy | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2022 | 2022 |
In 2022, Safran deployed SAP S/4 HANA for ERP Financial to support the Financial Department of Safran Aircraft Engines, aligning the company application SAP S/4 HANA with core finance operations. The implementation targeted a finance organization of roughly 400 users in accounting, management control, sales administration and export control functions, with on-site activities centered in Île-de-France.
The SAP S/4 HANA finance deployment concentrated on the finance functional stack, explicitly covering Accounting, Management Control, ADV and Export Control as named capabilities. The engagement included AMOA of the finance lot and preparation of configuration and operational training content, alongside creation of a dedicated website for users to access role‑specific tools and documentation.
Operational coordination encompassed Migration and revenue activities, with deployment workstreams organized to support onboarding seminars, impact analysis and a network of ambassadors and key users to accelerate adoption. The project was executed on-site in Île-de-France, reflecting a centralized rollout model for the Safran Aircraft Engines finance organization.
Governance was structured around regular Copil meetings held by RIDA, with planning driven by project sponsors including the Financial Director and the Director of finance transformation projects. Change management and rollout were supported by a managed team of 15 consultants and a network of ambassadors and key users responsible for local training and operational readiness.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2022 | 2022 |
In 2022 Safran implemented SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central for Core HR. The deployment was managed within the SMRH function of the Digital & HR Data Department and operates under the local Selia designation, focusing on a standardized employee administrative data management process across the group.
The implementation centered on the Core HR module, configured for employee administrative data management, with a backup responsibility assigned to a second Selia module. Configuration and operational work included administration and access management, role based administration for company and country administrators, and release driven development governance aligned with the system publisher releases. Change requests and feature developments are coordinated through the Maintenance and Support team in IT together with the SuccessFactors publisher to preserve consistency between process requirements and system capabilities.
Operational coverage spans all countries where Selia is deployed and is supported by a structured network of key users, company administrators and country administrators. Operational responsibilities documented in the implementation include leading the key user network, organizing and delivering training for key users, monitoring user service performance indicators, and ensuring ongoing data quality monitoring within the applications for which the SMRH team is responsible. The SMRH team also collaborates on new SMRH tool deployment projects that touch the administered processes.
Governance combines centralized oversight from Digital & HR Data and localized administration at country level, with formalized relationships to IT Maintenance and Support and to the SuccessFactors publisher to manage releases, support and enhancements. Process governance emphasizes alignment between HR processes and system functionality, and consistency across HRMS processes, while the operational model requires proficiency in SAP SuccessFactors and Human Resources administration processes to sustain run and change activities.

| Infor | Legacy | Infor M3 | Manufacturing ERP | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, Safran implemented Infor M3 as its Manufacturing ERP for Safran Aerosystems to centralize product support engineering and post‑commissioning service workflows within the Customer Support and Services (CSS) department. Infor M3 is positioned to support technical support engineers who act as the pivot between customer technical problems and the design office, enabling structured capture of failure cases and formalization of repair and return to service activities.
Configuration emphasized Manufacturing ERP capabilities aligned with service and sustainment for safety products, including service management to log customer incidents, spare parts and repair order management to control inventories and field repairs, traceability for components and serial numbers, engineering change control to manage improvement plans, and quality and reliability analysis to inform damage acceptability criteria and lifecycle assessments. These functional modules were tuned to support technical analysis of in service behavior, aging analysis, and the issuance of repair solutions and design modification requests.
Deployments integrated Infor M3 dataflows with CRM Salesforce as an explicit system of record for customer interactions, allowing case handoffs from airlines and aircraft manufacturers into the ERP work order and parts provisioning processes. The operational scope covers product support for safety products such as life rafts, helicopter buoyancy systems and emergency equipment across platforms including helicopters, military platforms and regional jets, and supports cross functional collaboration between CSS, field technicians, maintenance teams and the design office.
Governance and workflow restructuring formalized the role of the product support engineer within the Infor M3 driven process, establishing feedback loops for reporting in service experience into engineering, defined escalation paths for major technical problems, and lifecycle tracking for design modifications and product improvements. Training, technical presentations to customers and the management of parallel engineering and support projects were part of the operational processes supported by Infor M3 and connected CRM workflows.
