Integrations were implemented between the POS layer and the Hotel Management System HMS to surface checked out status, package and stay dates, room details, and to permit charges to checked out rooms without front desk intervention. Governance and process changes emphasized automation of reward redemption and streamlined guest interactions to reduce social contact, with operational intent to improve readability of POS folios and provide detailed HMS information at the point of sale.
