Configuration emphasized T&E policy enforcement, consolidated booking flows, and streamlined expense capture with automated receipt tracking and reconciliation. Ramp Travel was configured to route bookings through company policy controls and to unify receipt collection with expense records, reducing manual expense matching work for finance staff.
Operational scope covered the Sana Benefits finance team in the United States and shifted administrative work previously distributed across assistants to centralized controls, improving compliance and process consistency. The implementation produced a 10% reduction in out of policy travel spend and much faster receipt tracking, and it reduced manual work for the assistant controller while consolidating travel booking and expense processing into Ramp Travel.
