In 2016 Saputo implemented Workday HCM to centralize Core HR functions across its workforce of approximately 19,200 employees. Workday HCM became the primary system of record for employee data and day to day HR operations supporting Saputo Core HR and Human Resources business functions.
The Workday HCM deployment was configured to manage employee records, structured onboarding and exit processes, investigations, payroll related transactions, safety and training assignment, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, worker's compensation case tracking, and talent acquisition activities. Workday HCM was used to capture HRIS transactions required by HR Generalists and talent acquisition teams, and configured to enforce job profiles, security roles, and approval workflows common to Core HR implementations.
Operational coverage extended across Saputo manufacturing plants and office locations, with HR Generalists positioned as onsite business partners using Workday HCM for sourcing, screening, selection, orientation, and HRIS transaction processing. The implementation supported standardized HR procedures for onboarding, employee exits, case management, and recruitment workflows that span local site HR teams and centralized HR leadership.
Governance centered on consistent application of Saputo policies through the Workday HCM configuration, with HR ownership for day to day administration, role based access controls, and policy enforcement built into transaction workflows. The deployment emphasized process standardization for performance management, compensation administration, and employee relations, aligning Saputo Workday HCM Core HR with the operational needs of HR managers and onsite HR Generalists.

In 2013, Saputo implemented MicroStrategy ONE Analytics as a centralized Analytics and BI platform to underpin enterprise reporting and data warehouse tooling. The engagement focused on the overall development of tools for the data warehouse and the design and architecture of the MicroStrategy platform for corporate BI delivery.
The MicroStrategy ONE Analytics implementation emphasized platform architecture and object design, with explicit responsibilities to estimate effort for changes to MicroStrategy objects and to ensure that database design and modeling interact properly with the MicroStrategy SQL engine. Workstreams included configuration of analytical dossiers and reports, optimization of query patterns to achieve acceptable data retrieval times, and the development of ETL and extraction procedures that feed the warehouse.
Integrations were implemented with Informatica for ETL orchestration and data movement, and processes were established to manage extraction and data access into the warehouse used by MicroStrategy ONE Analytics. The program supported product development teams through review of data models and by coordinating production of solutions, while providing operational support to stabilize analytical workflows.
Governance centered on quality control and deliverable approval, with duties to ensure quality and consistency across MicroStrategy projects and to perform quality control on ETL developments with Informatica and BI deliverables with MicroStrategy. Operational responsibilities included approving platform deliverables, reviewing data models, estimating change effort, and coordinating production support for ongoing analytical operations.
