| SaskTel | Legacy | SaskTel Cloud Hosting | Application Hosting and Computing Services | IaaS | n/a | 2018 | 2018 | In 2018, Saskatchewan Roughriders implemented SaskTel Cloud Hosting as part of their relocation into the new Mosaic Stadium. The deployment leveraged SaskTel's data centre hosted infrastructure and Application Hosting and Computing Services to centralize communications and contact workflows, building on the team’s existing relationship with SaskTel and prior cloud hosting usage. The implementation augmented core hosting with a Hosted Collaboration Solution and a Hosted Contact Centre, configured to connect the entire office environment with external communications channels. SaskTel Cloud Hosting served as the primary platform for voice and collaboration services, and the Hosted Contact Centre was provisioned to optimize ticket office contact handling and fan-facing phone solutions. Architecturally the deployment used SaskTel’s data centre footprint to host virtualized application services and telephony endpoints, extending reach to the Mosaic Stadium office and ticketing contact channels. The solution emphasized centralized application hosting and computing, integrating office collaboration and contact centre capabilities within the same hosted environment to simplify operational connectivity between staff and fans. Governance was organized around a provider-managed model, where SaskTel assumed operational responsibility for infrastructure and communications services, enabling internal staff to concentrate on football operations. The organization cited the outcome that SaskTel handling of technology allowed the Roughriders to focus on running the team, reflecting an operational handoff rather than an internally operated hosting model. | |
