In 2016, Scanomat deployed Pydio as its File Transfer Protocol solution to centralize and share marketing and sales documentation across its global teams. The deployment served approximately 300 users and was coordinated from Scanomat's Denmark operations to support Europe/global distribution of assets for sales/marketing functions.
Pydio was configured as a central repository with role based access controls, versioning, metadata tagging and web based file sharing to reduce fragmentation of shared drives. The implementation included integrations with Scanomat's Wordpress site and its CRM to automate distribution and ensure up to date marketing and sales materials were available to field teams.
Operational governance oriented around sales and marketing workflows, with staged rollout to global teams and access policies to manage costs and sharing. The Scanomat deployment positioned Pydio as the centralized File Transfer Protocol platform for marketing and sales asset management, delivering reduced fragmentation of shared drives, cost control and faster access for sales and marketing.
