Fyle Legacy Fyle Expense Management Expense Management ERP Financial Management n/a 2024 2024
In 2024, Scobee Powerline Construction implemented Fyle Expense Management, an Expense Management application, across its U.S. field and office operations. The deployment focused on finance and operations teams within the 50-employee contractor to automate expense workflows and accelerate month-end close. The implementation centralized automated receipt capture including SMS-based receipt submission and configured corporate card and fuel-card reconciliation workflows. Fyle Expense Management was configured to perform receipt matching and streamline expense reporting, reducing manual data entry and reconciliation steps in standard expense management workflows. Integration architecture included a native QuickBooks integration that synchronized expense transactions and reconciled card feeds into the accounting ledger for the U.S. field-and-office environment. The QuickBooks integration served as the primary integration point for posting expenses and reconciling corporate and fuel-card activity with accounting records. Governance and process changes centralized receipt submission and reconciliation under finance and operations, shortening the month-end close cadence. According to the case study, reconciliation time was cut by approximately 85 percent and month-end close was reduced from seven days to one.
