In 2020, Scot JCB implemented IFS Cloud ERP as part of an ERP Financial deployment to consolidate transactional and operational finance capabilities. The project was delivered with Cooper Software and moved the business to IFS Applications 10 to establish a single source of financial and operational data and enable real-time insights.
The implementation centered on core ERP Financial functionality, including financial ledgers, accounts payable and receivable workflows, and centralized reporting to improve visibility across distribution and service operations. Configuration emphasized operational data visibility and streamlined process flows, aligning financial controls with commercial and service workflows typical for a distribution and plant servicing business.
Operational coverage targeted Scot JCB’s distribution and servicing footprint across Scotland and the North of England, consolidating service, inventory and transactional data into the IFS Cloud ERP environment. Integrations focused on bringing service operations and inventory workflows into a unified financial context to support real-time dashboards and decision support.
Governance and rollout included standardizing processes and establishing data and reporting governance to support faster decision making. According to IT Manager Harley Wilkie, the move to IFS Applications 10 with Cooper Software delivers enhanced data visibility, streamlined processes and real-time insights, enabling Scot JCB to operate more efficiently and pursue its growth and efficiency objectives.
