In 2022, ScottishPower deployed the Sodexo Engage Employee Benefits Platform to centralize benefits administration for its United Kingdom workforce of 932 employees. The Sodexo Engage Employee Benefits Platform is implemented under the Benefits Administration category, scoped to HR and total rewards functions, and intended to manage enrollment, eligibility, and plan configurability.
The implementation centered on standard Benefits Administration modules including benefits catalog management, open enrollment orchestration, employee self-service portals, and administrator consoles for plan configuration and eligibility rules. The platform was configured to provide web and mobile access, support targeted employee communications, and enable configurable enrollment workflows and life event processing.
Architecturally, the deployment follows a cloud hosted SaaS model with role based access controls, audit logging, centralized administration for benefits policy and plan versioning, and built in reporting for HR administrators. The design emphasized configurable workflows and administrative controls to align benefits rules with corporate policy and to streamline ongoing plan maintenance.
Governance established HR benefits administrators and delegated approvers, standardized approval workflows for eligibility changes, and a phased approach to enrollment windows and configuration updates. Training and change activities focused on administrator enablement and employee self service guidance to support adoption of the Sodexo Engage Employee Benefits Platform.
