Oracle Legacy Oracle Cloud ERP ERP Financial ERP n/a 2020 2021
In 2020, Security Bank implemented Oracle Cloud ERP as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment was applied across product management, events operations, procurement and finance functions, supporting procurement, order management, financial processing and tracking use cases. Deployment practice emphasized enterprise financial workflows and event-related operational controls within the bank rather than customer-facing channels. Oracle Cloud ERP was configured to support procurement controls, order management workflows, transaction-level financial processing and production reporting. Security Bank implemented data validation processes and program reporting routines to improve accuracy and consistency in financial records and event accounting. Employee incentive disbursements were managed by generating production reports and facilitating distributions using Microsoft Word MailMerge, while event logistics relied on the ERP for procurement and financial tracking. Operational coverage included support for bank events and internal communications, notably coordination of a branded public event and inclusive town halls, with Oracle Cloud ERP used to track budgets, orders and financial settlements. Governance evolved to formalize reporting, validation steps and handoffs between product managers, finance and events teams to support program launches and on-site execution. Reported outcomes included improved accuracy in program reporting and successful event execution as evidenced by seamless ingress and egress processes at hosted events.

Darwinbox Legacy Darwinbox Leave Management Absence and Leave Management HCM n/a 2023 2024
In 2023, Security Bank deployed Darwinbox Leave Management as part of a wider HeRO platform to centralize HR operations across the Philippines. The rollout positioned Darwinbox Leave Management as the bank's Absence and Leave Management solution, aligning leave administration with time and attendance, performance, learning, and employee self-service capabilities under a single platform. The implementation configured Leaves & Attendance and HR self-service workflows to standardize leave request, approval, and tracking processes, while leveraging Darwinbox as the system of record for absence data. Functional capabilities implemented included employee-initiated leave requests, manager approvals routed through the platform, and consolidated absence reporting to support regional HR operations and workforce scheduling. Governance followed a regional HR transformation model, with central HR ownership for policy configuration and local HR teams managing day to day case work and adoption. The platform achieved high user adoption and measurable efficiency gains as reported by the case study, with the Security Bank Darwinbox Leave Management deployment explicitly supporting HR, payroll adjacent workflows, and enterprise absence governance.

Finastra Legacy Finastra Misys FusionBanking Equation Core Banking ERP Services and Operations n/a 2015 2015
In 2015 Security Bank implemented Finastra Misys FusionBanking Equation as its Core Banking platform to centralize ATM card processing, CASA accounting, posting and file extraction workflows. The Finastra Misys FusionBanking Equation deployment supported both batch and online processing streams and was positioned to support retail, card, deposit and corporate channel functions within the bank. Implementation scope included development and enhancement of batch and online modules for ATM and card operations, specifically Positive Balance File Extract and CAF Extract integrations with the Smart Vista back office and front end. Online Equation options were extended for card requisition and authorization using Y23 and Y24, MCE card maintenance and enrollment via YM1 and YM2, and a MCE batch upload flow YU1 and YU2 to enroll more than 25 accounts in a single load. Account and product handling was expanded with S-Class consolidated SOA enrollment YSC, SSS total lump sum validation YSL, monthly SOA extraction, CIF and account migration, and a range of report and extract programs including Top Casa extract, deleted checks deposit reports, balance distribution extract, deal maturity extracts, ATM and Cashlink card reporting, and Secure Reward Promo extraction. Architecturally the implementation was delivered on an AS400 RPG technical stack with Finastra Misys FusionBanking Equation integrated to Smart Vista for ATM card lifecycle exchange via flat file interfaces and to middleware for a CRM Next Best Product initiative. The project defined technical specifications and created stored procedures and API validation points to enable interoperability with a new Cash Portal corporate channel replacing Digibanker, an ATM debit switch integration, and the Lumious OTC interface, with proof of concept engagements with third party vendors for middleware and switch connectivity. Governance and rollout were led from a technical leadership and project management perspective, the team led system integration testing, user acceptance testing and production loading for CASA, interface, and end-of-day processes, reviewed and approved functional specifications and technical specs, and prepared implementation checklists and cutover plans. Change control and SDLC discipline were enforced through presentations to the IT Design Review Board, review of test scripts, file and report specifications, and ongoing 24 hour support coverage for end-of-day processing and daily branch issue resolution. The deployment produced explicit functional capabilities such as flat file compatibility with Smart Vista for card issuance, branch-facing card request options that allowed near-instant issuance for the bank proprietary card, and batch upload capabilities to streamline high-volume MCE enrollments. The program also included an FBEQ migration and upgrade of Equation to a later release as part of the continuous platform lifecycle work.
