| Legal Files Software | Legacy | Legal Files Matter and Legal Case Management | Case Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2007 | 2008 | In 2007, the Seminole Tribe installed Legal Files Matter and Legal Case Management, completing installation in December and going live on January 1, 2008. The deployment provisioned Legal Files Matter and Legal Case Management as the central Case Management system for the tribal government legal team in the United States. The implementation targeted the in-house legal department responsible for contracts, employment and gaming matters, sized for a small legal operation supporting tribal government workflows. Configuration emphasized matter intake, centralized document control and structured status tracking to eliminate reliance on paper-based records. The project implemented standardized file opening and file purge workflows to formalize case lifecycle procedures and reduce manual record handling. The deployment leveraged core matter management, document repository and status tracking capabilities typical of the Case Management category, with configuration focused on intake routing and lifecycle automation rather than custom integrations. Rollout followed a discrete schedule with installation in December 2007 and a January 1, 2008 go-live, accompanied by updated intake and records governance to enforce consistent processes. Operationally the system delivered large time savings for file purge and opening processes and enabled faster status tracking across contract, employment and gaming matters. The Seminole Tribe reported a return on investment measured in months, reflecting the rapid operational impact of centralizing matter management and document control within Legal Files Matter and Legal Case Management. |
