In 2020, Servis Industries Limited implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations as the core ERP Financial platform while moving its on-premises infrastructure to the cloud with partner Confiz Limited. The Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations deployment was positioned to unify finance, supply chain, and commerce capabilities across retail and manufacturing operations.
The implementation encompassed Dynamics 365 Finance, Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, and Dynamics 365 Commerce modules, with configuration that included Distribution Order Management and distribution utilities to centralize order processing and inventory views. The solution automated warehouse receiving and dispatch workflows and delivered real-time financial and sales reporting, enabling continuous data capture from day one of store operations.
Integrations focused on centralizing sales and order data from multiple ecommerce channels into a single database, smoothing order ingestion and fulfillment across online platforms and physical stores without naming specific external vendors. Operational coverage included Shoebox retail outlets, the company planning and warehouse functions, and corporate finance and IT teams, supporting remote provisioning of new stores and national and international expansion goals.
Governance and process changes included centralized reporting and inventory visibility for planning and replenishment, automated transfer order processes for store replenishment, and a roadmap to extend in-store automation using Power Apps. Confiz Limited acted as the implementation partner, coordinating cloud deployment, module configuration, and rollout sequencing for retail outlets.
Outcomes reported by Servis Industries Limited included faster and more accurate reporting, real-time sales visibility, improved inventory traceability across the supply chain, smoother ecommerce order fulfilment, increased record accuracy from warehouse automation, and reported improvements in customer satisfaction and sales performance.
