In 2021, ShareFile deployed Allstacks to centralize engineering metrics in the category, instrumenting delivery metrics across approximately 40 engineering teams within its U.S. engineering organization. The Allstacks implementation focused on aggregating cycle time, pull request response, and backlog health to create team level and program level visibility for engineering leadership.
Allstacks was configured to provide consolidated dashboards, automated metric calculation, and configurable views for sprint and release planning, enabling consistent measurement of cycle time and pull request response workflows. The implementation emphasized trend analysis and status reporting to surface bottlenecks and support more predictable delivery cadences.
Governance was established around shared metric definitions and a rollout cadence that aligned team metrics with engineering program reviews, embedding metric reviews into existing development rituals and assigning metric ownership at the team level. Operational scope remained within the engineering area in the United States and targeted cross team standardization rather than enterprise wide expansion.
