In 2024 Shinnichi Kogyo implemented Nippon RAD in the Application Hosting and Computing Services category to establish an edge to ERP IoT data pipeline for production. Nippon RAD acted as system integrator to deliver an edge to ERP solution that focused on automated production data acquisition and real time dashboards for the manufacturer in Japan.
The deployment combined Konekti EX, i-Reporter, Advantech IoTSuite, and Advantech ECU and ADAM devices as discrete modules. Konekti EX was used for edge gateway orchestration, Advantech ECU and ADAM devices handled field level I O and sensor telemetry, Advantech IoTSuite provided data aggregation and visualization, and i-Reporter captured operator input and digital work instructions, enabling structured shop floor data collection and ingestion into hosted application services.
Integrations included bidirectional ERP connectivity to surface production status and collected measurements in real time, and dashboarding layers for operational visibility. The implementation targeted production shop floor workflows and the manufacturing operations function at Shinnichi Kogyo, consolidating field device telemetry, operator reports, and aggregated IoT telemetry into a hosted application stack.
Nippon RAD led configuration, device provisioning, and phased rollout across the production environment, establishing governance for automated data capture and ERP handoffs. The project resulted in automated data collection, dashboarding, and improved ERP integration, reducing manual entry and improving operational visibility for Shinnichi Kogyo while operating under the Nippon RAD Application Hosting and Computing Services deployment.
