In 2015 Insee Cement implemented SAP S/4 HANA as the ERP Financial core for the Siam City Cement Group, migrating from SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and opting for a private cloud deployment. The migration was executed as an early adopter project in Thailand and completed in a nine month implementation cycle that positioned SAP S/4 HANA as the group digital core.
The S/4 HANA rollout connected 36 SAP modules and applications to the central S/4 HANA instance, and included integrations with 31 non‑SAP cloud solutions to extend functionality. Functional emphasis was on finance and consolidation, faster month end close processes, analytics-ready data models, and operational reporting, enabling finance teams to move work from repetitive closing tasks to analysis and front end business partnering.
Integrations were delivered as multi-cloud connections into the S/4 HANA private cloud, supporting cross‑company consolidation across group entities and providing data feeds for analytics and user-facing services. The program was driven by the group IT organization INSEE Digital, aligning S/4 HANA with omni-channel and customer-facing initiatives to bring products closer to end customers and to support new digital platforms for contractors and consumers.
Governance and organizational change emphasized user adoption and trust in cloud operations, leading to the private cloud choice before potential public cloud migration. Reported operational outcomes included materially faster close cycles, easier consolidation across group companies, and freed user time for cross-functional collaboration, and the organization retained explicit plans to leverage the S/4 HANA core for future IoT plant controls, predictive analytics, and a centralized operations war room.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP HCM (HR) | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2015 | 2015 |
In 2015, Insee Cement implemented SAP HCM (HR) to establish Core HR capabilities and to support a digital HR transformation across its Thailand and regional HR operations. The deployment focused on centralizing organization management and personnel administration data to ensure accuracy and data integrity for employee master records and organizational structures.
The SAP HCM (HR) implementation covered standard Core HR functional modules including organization management, personnel administration, and time management, with configuration and maintenance of codes and tables, report generation, and dashboard readiness. The HRIS Manager role emphasized enhancement and maintenance of the system, processing of change requests, execution of system tests, and acting as an SAP HCM super user to support HR Core users in testing and rollout activities.
Operationally the environment was managed alongside knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors operations and reporting tools, with Power BI Desktop referenced for report and dashboard preparation and analysis. System responsibilities included producing HR reports and dashboards, analyzing HR data against IT specifications, and ensuring compatibility of functional design with production.
Governance centered on formalizing guidelines for required HR information, security protocols, and end user access controls to preserve data integrity and consistency across HR platforms. The implementation also embedded business process improvement activities to resolve pain points and align HR system design with the companys HR strategy and enterprise roadmap, with escalation paths for customer issues and participation in cross functional testing.

| Senseye | Legacy | Senseye PdM | Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2019 | 2019 |
In 2019, Insee Cement implemented Senseye PdM as its Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) solution at the Saraburi cement complex. The deployment supported Siam City Cement Company SCCC's showcase Digital Factory for the ASEAN region and leveraged existing smart factory equipment and sensors already installed across the plant.
Senseye PdM was configured to deliver automated detection, diagnostic and prognostic capabilities across plant assets, creating a predictive maintenance workflow consistent with Computerized Maintenance Management (CMMS) functional patterns. The implementation included prognostics-driven automated work-order creation and an automated learning loop that updated models based on closed work-orders, reducing end-user training requirements and improving maintenance accuracy.
Integration work focused on SAP PM, Senseye integrated with SCCC's SAP PM system to enable a closed-loop learning system where prognostic alerts generate SAP PM work-orders and closed work-orders feed back into Senseye for model refinement. Operational coverage began at the Saraburi production complex across all factory assets and the program is documented as being expanded in progress to 10+ sites within the companys regional footprint.
Governance and rollout emphasized collaborative supplier engagement and minimal operator disruption, with the project accepted by the customer ahead of schedule. Outcomes explicitly stated include automated work-order creation based on prognostic insights, automated learning based on closed work-orders from SAP PM, formal recognition as the Government of Thailand showcase Digital Factory project, and ongoing site expansion.
