The implementation used advanced workbook design and automation patterns, and team members completed certified Tableau advanced training to operationalize complex visual analytics.
Operational data feeding Tableau came from SQL Server and Oracle databases, with ETL and data migration tasks executed using SQL Server Integration Services for extraction, transform and loading. BI staff monitored databases, authored efficient SQL to link data between tables, and executed structured test plans through SIT and UAT into the deployment environment.
Governance practices included documentation of test plans from system integration testing to user acceptance testing and deployment, and data governance principles were applied by BI analysts versed in statistics, data visualization, and relational architectures. The team built an automation framework for several reports which reduced processing time by around one third, improving report cycle efficiency for reporting and analytics workflows.
