In 2019, Sirva implemented Oracle PeopleSoft ERP to consolidate core finance processes and centralize financial controls. The deployment targeted ERP Financial capabilities to standardize accounting, ledger management and transactional finance across the organization.
The implementation configured core PeopleSoft Financials modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management and Asset Management. Configuration work included chart of accounts redesign, close management workflows and period-end automation using PeopleSoft Financials functionality, with emphasis on financial data model alignment to support multi-entity accounting.
The program established integration patterns and interfaces for transactional feeds, automated bank statement processing and consolidated financial reporting, leveraging PeopleSoft integration and ETL approaches for data consolidation. Operational coverage focused on Sirva finance and accounting functions, centralizing transactional processing and financial close orchestration across business units.
Governance was led by an internal PeopleSoft Financials Functional Lead and a PeopleSoft Technical Lead who oversaw configuration control, role-based security and change management. A phased rollout approach with formal configuration reviews and user acceptance testing governed releases, and application support processes were embedded into finance application governance to maintain accounting structures and close procedures.
