In 2016, SiTime implemented Oracle Cloud ERP. The US based semiconductor company engaged Trinamix to deploy Oracle Financials and Oracle Procurement Cloud as an ERP Financial solution to address constrained purchasing workflows and to support rapid year on year growth of approximately 50 percent across networking, consumer, computing and storage markets.
The implementation centered on Oracle Financials and Oracle Procurement Cloud modules, delivering end to end financial transactions coverage and source to pay procurement capabilities. Configuration work emphasized common ERP Financial components such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchase order processing and supplier invoicing automation to replace manual purchasing steps and to provide 360 degrees visibility into financial and procurement processes.
Operational scope targeted finance and procurement functions with direct relevance to manufacturing and product provisioning for SiTime’s semiconductor portfolio, enabling smoother execution of business processes and positioning the company to leverage global opportunities. Trinamix was selected based on prior experience implementing integrated cloud solutions for hi tech and semiconductor clients, and the first phase of the project was estimated to go live by end of 2017.
Governance and rollout were structured as a phased cloud adoption led by Trinamix, with process restructuring in purchasing to reduce manual intervention and enable standardized financial controls. Outcomes called out by the engagement include 360 degrees coverage of financial transactions, streamlined procurement processes and reduced operational costs as part of the Oracle Cloud ERP deployment.
