In 2015, Sixpoint implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its core ERP Financial platform to centralize accounting for a 30 person consumer packaged goods firm. The implementation focused on establishing a single financial system of record, with Oracle NetSuite ERP used to standardize accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and general ledger processes for the company.
Operational configuration centered on basic accounting modules, including accounts payable, bank reconciliation, and accounts control workflows, while supporting ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting. Expense management was managed through company-wide processes, and Oracle NetSuite ERP was configured to capture and reconcile expense data alongside core accounting transactions.
The Oracle NetSuite ERP environment was operated in concert with Nexonia and ShipCompliant, tools Sixpoint worked extensively with to handle expense capture and regulatory compliance workflows. Nexonia was used to route and collect employee expense submissions into the ERP, and ShipCompliant supported alcohol beverage tax and label compliance workflows that fed compliance records into the NetSuite financial audit trail.
Governance and process work included ownership and development of a compliance department and formalized protocols, with finance leading company-wide expense management and compliance reporting. Controls and documented procedures were established to support accounting close activities and regulatory traceability, aligning finance and compliance functions within the ERP Financial platform.
