In 2025, Skill Creations, Inc implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as its ERP Financial system, replacing Microsoft Dynamics GP. Skill Creations is a human services agency operating three divisions in North Carolina, intermediate care facilities, child development, and community operations, and the implementation targeted consolidation of financial processes and centralized accounting across those divisions.
The deployment configured Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central core financial modules including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and budgeting and financial reporting, aligned to a standardized chart of accounts and multi division accounting structures to support consolidated reporting. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central was instrumented to handle divisional roll ups and period end financial close workflows typical to ERP Financial implementations.
Implementation and data migration were guided by ACE Micro, which executed extraction and conversion of master data and transaction history from Microsoft Dynamics GP into Business Central, including chart of accounts mapping and master data reconciliation. The architecture provisioned a Business Central environment with division level separation, security roles and permissions, and configuration to support departmental controls and audit trails.
Rollout followed a partner led approach with staged cutover planning, finance team onboarding, and governance changes to centralize financial workflows and controls across the three business units, with ACE Micro retained for initial post go live support.

In 2009, Skill Creations, Inc implemented Quadient Neopost IS-5000 as its primary Mailing System. The deployment targeted centralized mailroom operations and administrative mailing functions within the US healthcare organization, supporting outgoing correspondence and parcel processing for a company of roughly 1,000 employees.
The Quadient Neopost IS-5000 was configured to provide core mailing device capabilities including postage metering and account tracking, automated batch job processing, integrated weighing and rate calculation, and high-volume envelope printing and sealing. Standard Mailing System workflows such as job queuing, postage accounting, and batch reconciliation were applied to normalize processing across mail runs and operator shifts.
Operational ownership was assigned to mailroom operators and administrative staff who were already familiar with Word and Excel and had prior hands-on experience with Toshiba, Canon, and Brother copier and fax equipment, as well as Pitney Bowes and Neopost mailing machines. That existing operational familiarity supported continuity of daily mail handling and reduced device handling training requirements.
Governance emphasized process standardization for mail intake, job ticketing, operator permissions, and postage cost allocation procedures, aligning mailroom work patterns with organizational billing and cost allocation processes. The implementation reads as a device-centric Mailing System deployment, focused on operational controls and operator practices rather than broad systems integration.
