The deployment encompassed full cycle GL, accounts payable, financial statement production, and variance analysis, and it was used to drive planning and forecasting through a documented financial model maintained by the finance lead. The team used Sage Intacct alongside Crystal Reports and SQL query development to deliver management reporting, KPIs, metrics, and benchmarks that informed executive financial decisions.
Operational integrations and data flows were managed between the Sage Intacct accounting environment and multiple subsystems, including Nexonia Expense Reporting Software, Adaptive Insights Financial Modeling Software, and Circuitree Solutions Recruiting Module, reflecting a multi-application finance stack. The finance owner also served as point of contact for guest services software and the POS system, and partnered with developers to enhance the website and registration portal to improve the guest experience.
Governance and process transformation accompanied the rollout, with the finance lead collaborating with the controller to overhaul the accounting department and remove inefficiencies while building sustainable processes and internal controls.
