Oracle NetSuite ERP was configured to support core financial modules and close cycle orchestration, including cash management, accounts payable, payroll oversight, general ledger, fixed assets, month end close packages, global consolidation, intercompany accounting, and transfer pricing entries. The implementation emphasized month end close automation and controls, creation of process flowcharts, and the development of internal control automation for areas such as payroll, fixed assets, and voucher review to enhance reporting accuracy and shorten the monthly and quarterly close calendar.
Operational coverage for the Oracle NetSuite ERP implementation spanned Snyk’s distributed finance footprint across the United States, Europe, APAC, Israel, and Canada, with the Global Controller directing accounting and finance leads in APAC, Europe, Israel, and the US. The program included system support for statutory reporting requirements in each jurisdiction, onboarding of local bank accounts and payroll arrangements, and coordination with local service providers and bookkeepers to ensure consistent accounting treatment across entities.
Governance changes were anchored in the Global Controller role, which was responsible for journal review, account reconciliations, control design, consolidation ownership, and communicating results to senior finance leadership to ensure US GAAP compliance. The role also owned assessing system gaps, defining accounting system requirements to IT, and leading finance systems implementation activities to create operational efficiencies as Snyk scaled.

Governance for the rollout emphasized centralized advisory oversight and compliance controls, creating standardized benefits policy and operational ownership within HR. Sequoia People Benefits and the advisory engagement were used to maintain ongoing carrier relationships, benchmarking cadence, and jurisdictional compliance across Snyk’s global benefits footprint.
