In 2005, Social Science Research Council implemented Criterion Applicant Tracking, an Applicant Tracking System. Jennifer Blackman, Human Resources Manager at SSRC, said the organization sought an affordable HRIS and found that solution in Criterion HCM.
Criterion Applicant Tracking was configured to support job requisition management, candidate tracking workflows, application intake, interview scheduling, offer management, and standard recruiting reporting. The deployment included consolidation of applicant records and workflow automation for requisition approvals and candidate status progression. These functional capabilities reflect core Applicant Tracking System workflows aligned to SSRC recruiting and HR administration needs.
The implementation was scoped to HR and recruiting functions across the organization, with Human Resources retained as operational owner. Criterion Applicant Tracking was provisioned alongside Criterion HCM to align recruiting workflows with broader HRIS processes and personnel records management.
Governance and operational adoption were led by the HR organization under Jennifer Blackman, who drove selection and operational use. SSRC reported that Criterion HCM met their affordability and organizational requirements.
