In 2020, Southern Cross implemented TechnologyOne Financials. The implementation positioned TechnologyOne Financials as the ER P Financial backbone for Southern Cross, supporting core finance and transactional accounting across the New Zealand non profit with roughly 2,834 employees.
The deployment focused on configuring standard ERP Financial modules, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset management, procurement-related financial controls, bank reconciliation and financial reporting. TechnologyOne Financials was configured to reflect Southern Cross chart of accounts and cost center structures, and to enforce role based access and invoice approval workflows consistent with institutional finance controls.
The implementation was executed alongside existing HR and workforce management tooling, with explicit interoperability between TechnologyOne Financials and UKG for HR and workforce data synchronization, enabling alignment of payroll cost allocations and employee cost centers to financial transactions. Operational coverage included finance, human resources and supply chain functional areas within Southern Cross New Zealand operations, with the Financials application integrated into the broader TechnologyOne finance and supply chain landscape used by the organization.
