In 2025, SpaceManager Closets implemented Acumatica Cloud ERP as its ERP Financial platform, replacing Intuit QuickBooks Enterprise and multiple spreadsheet-based processes to create a single, cloud-based operational backbone. The deployment was executed with implementation partner 3Value, aligning the system with the company’s Houston, TX manufacturing site and its remote installer workforce. Acumatica Cloud ERP served as the central system for purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, field service, and financial management.
The implementation configured Acumatica Cloud ERP with manufacturing-focused capabilities including bills of material and production management, time-phased material requirements planning, and inventory control. Financial modules and purchasing workflows were integrated into the same platform to eliminate disconnected PO and receiving practices, and the solution leveraged Acumatica’s slow-code and no-code personalization to remove prior custom development and reduce internal support burden.
Operationally the system extended core ERP features through seamless connections to third-party applications to broaden functionality and support mobile field operations. The rollout connected native field service management and mobile apps to the manufacturing and installation processes, enabling scheduling and productivity improvements for remote installers while supporting manufacturing execution at the Houston facility.
Governance and process changes centralized purchasing and inventory management, moved the company away from annual physical counts toward accurate, system-driven inventory records, and embedded production planning into order workflows. Implementation partner 3Value guided configuration and personalization, enabling repeatable processes intended to support SpaceManager Closets’ regional growth strategy.
Outcomes reported by the company include a 30 percent decrease in cost of goods sold through improved bulk material purchasing, dramatic reductions in errors due to accurate inventory information that improved customer satisfaction, optimized inventory and production via time-phased MRP, elimination of custom development and internal support, and improved gross margins through better inventory tracking and Acumatica’s pricing model. Company leadership summarized the transformation by saying, "Acumatica is literally the lifeblood of our business. There’s nothing we do that doesn’t include Acumatica."

In 2025 SpaceManager Closets implemented Acumatica ERP Cloud Field Service Edition to centralize operations and enable Field Service Management across its manufacturing, sales, and installation workflows. The deployment targeted end to end business functions including financial management, manufacturing operations, inventory control, purchasing and receiving, and field service scheduling for its Houston based manufacturing and installation business.
The implementation consolidated capabilities that had previously been split across QuickBooks, Job Nimbus, multiple inventory applications, and spreadsheets, and it leveraged Acumatica ERP Cloud Field Service Edition native manufacturing and financial modules to support make to order and configure to order processes. Functional modules and capabilities configured included inventory automation, purchasing workflows, SKU and BOM control, quality control checkpoints, sales pipeline capture and quoting, customer communications automation, and Field Service Management features for scheduling and team assignment.
Integrations and platform extensibility were implemented using Acumatica mobile application capabilities, payment integration, and Open APIs to support the company s mobile sales team and field-based installers. Operational coverage included the company s inhouse manufacturing facility, mobile sales and installation teams, and an active service footprint covering 236 zip codes, with the Field Service Management application orchestrating scheduling and crew creation for each project.
Governance and process changes removed spreadsheet based workarounds, introduced automated customer notifications without developer intervention, and centralized real-time inventory and purchasing decisions so bulk procurement and supplier planning could be executed from system data. The implementation was executed with Acumatica partner ASWI completing the core deployment in four months, and 3Value recorded as an implementation partner on file.
Reported outcomes tied directly to the deployment included resolution of 95 percent of prior inventory challenges, access to real-time data, reduced material cost through bulk purchasing, improved quality control, streamlined operations, and clearer sales pipeline and lead profitability visibility enabled by the Field Service Management and manufacturing capabilities within Acumatica ERP Cloud Field Service Edition.
