Operational coverage spanned merchandising, inventory planning, replenishment, wholesale and retail channel operations across the 12 brands, with Speedo and Lacoste already live on SAP and the remaining ten brands scheduled for go live mid 2010. The program emphasized centralized master data governance and standardized merchandise workflows to support multi brand retail operations.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP BW (Business Warehouse) | Data Warehouse | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2014 | 2014 |
In 2014, Speedo implemented SAP BW (Business Warehouse) as its Data Warehouse to centralize reporting used by Customer Service and channel management for global and multi-national distributors. The deployment targeted order book oversight and inventory visibility across swim specialist and high street channels, aligning BI capabilities with operational order management processes in Nottingham and supporting international distributor workflows.
The SAP BW (Business Warehouse) implementation focused on building data models and scheduled reporting layers to surface Order Book details, Free stock lists, and sales opportunity reports. Configuration emphasized extract, transform and load pipelines from transactional SAP sources, report authoring for Customer Service use, and automated distribution of BW reports to merchandising and sales stakeholders.
Integrations included feeds from SAP transactional systems for order and inventory data, and operational inputs from the Warehouse Distribution Centre, Credit Management procedures, and Value Added Services to ensure reporting reflected shipping and reschedule events. The Data Warehouse supported cross-functional consumers such as merchandisers, the DC team, credit controllers and Customer Service Coordinators who relied on SAP and BW reports for order placement, confirmation and proactive sales activity.
Governance centered on using BW reports to standardize Order Book management processes, enforce SLA-driven stock checks and formalize workflows for handling rescheduled orders and shipping reconciliations. Operational adoption involved embedding SAP BW reporting into daily Customer Service routines and coordinating reporting outputs with merchandising and fulfillment processes to improve transparency and decision making.
