NextChapter Legacy NextChapter PIM Product Information Management eCommerce n/a 2023 2024
In 2023, Sport2000 Netherlands deployed NextChapter PIM as part of a multi channel unified commerce platform to centralize product information and enable omnichannel e commerce and store based fulfillment across its franchise. The implementation centralized over 800,000 products in a single Product Information Management repository and added order management functionality to support more than 60 stores. NextChapter PIM was configured to operate as the central product catalog and content hub, supporting product data consolidation, enrichment workflows, SKU normalization, and channel syndication to web and in store channels. The project also implemented OMS capabilities for store based fulfillment, inventory visibility and order orchestration, aligning product and availability data across commerce touchpoints. Operational scope covered national franchise operations in the Netherlands, with rollout focused on site stability and storefront fulfillment integration for more than 60 physical stores. Governance changes included central catalog stewardship and role based content workflows to manage product data across franchise merchandising and store operations teams. Outcomes reported in the case study include improved site stability, enhanced inventory visibility and higher conversion rates, driven by the unified Product Information Management repository and the added OMS functionality. Sport2000 Netherlands uses NextChapter PIM to link product data to omnichannel commerce and fulfillment operations.
