In 2015 Standex International implemented Epicor ERP 10 as its ERP Financial system. The implementation covered the Standex Cooking Solutions Group based in Allen, TX and extended to a manufacturing facility in Nogales, MX, aligning ERP Financial capabilities with manufacturing and transactional finance operations across the organization.
Configuration work for Epicor ERP 10 emphasized reporting and process automation, with development of dashboard reports, Business Activity Queries BAQs, and Business Process Management BPM customizations. These modules and customizations were used to surface operational data, automate exception handling, and enable role specific reporting within finance and manufacturing functional areas.
Integrations explicitly included support for EDI projects and SQL Server data extract routines, enabling electronic data interchange with trading partners and custom data feeds for external analytics and operational workflows. The integration layer relied on Epicor ERP 10 transaction data exposed through BAQs and SQL extracts to feed EDI workflows and downstream systems.
Administration and governance were handled by an ERP administrator onsite from April 2018 to April 2019 who administered Epicor 10 and maintained customizations, dashboards, BAQs, and BPMs. Governance practices focused on configuration management, change control for BPM customizations, and operational support processes for EDI and SQL extraction routines.
