In 2008, the State of Oklahoma implemented Oracle PeopleSoft Leave Accruals as an Absence and Leave Management platform for agencies that adopt the PeopleSoft Leave System. The State of Oklahoma deployed Oracle PeopleSoft Leave Accruals to provide centralized accrual calculations and controlled leave balance visibility for participating agencies.
Oracle PeopleSoft Leave Accruals was configured to operate the accrual calculation engine, maintain leave balances, and expose employee self service views for leave balances and time off requests, reflecting common Absence and Leave Management capabilities. Configuration work included agency level accrual rules, pay period calendars, entitlement tracking, and role based access for HR administrators and employees.
Leave balances are available only to agencies utilizing the PeopleSoft Leave System, creating operational boundaries that limit visibility to those agency instances as described in the Employee Self Service manual. Operational coverage focused on HR and leave administration across state agencies that adopted PeopleSoft, with controls to ensure agency level data segregation and user based permissions.
Governance and rollout relied on documented procedural guidance in the Employee Self Service manual to standardize end user workflows and administrator responsibilities. The implementation prioritized centralized accrual logic while allowing agency specific rule sets and permissions for leave administration, aligning PeopleSoft configuration with state HR processes.
