CrossKnowledge Legacy CK Connect Learning and Development HCM n/a 2018 2018
In 2018, Storebrand implemented CK Connect from CrossKnowledge as its primary Learning and Development application. The deployment leveraged CrossKnowledge proprietary Blendedx technology to deliver group learning that is integrated into daily staff interactions and to consolidate video based learning alongside bespoke cultural content. The implementation combined CrossKnowledge Library video content with bespoke modules on Storebrand culture and social features to enrich the learning experience and encourage ongoing engagement. CK Connect was configured with functional capabilities for video content consumption, bespoke culture modules, social learning interactions, gamification elements, and mobile usage, enabling learners to follow their progress within the platform. The program includes engaging gamification mechanics and three animated Storebrand characters, two employees and a customer, created to broach sensitive topics and challenge attitudes without causing offense. Managers are provided with a My Team tab in the CK Connect app to monitor learner activities and progress, providing a manager facing governance layer for team level oversight. Operationally the rollout emphasized organization wide employee development and embedding learning into daily workflows rather than delivering isolated courses. Content curation and sequencing were adapted to Storebrand culture, supporting ongoing use on mobile devices and social interaction features to keep learning active across teams. The implementation positions CK Connect as the central Learning and Development platform for Storebrand, linking learner progress tracking, manager monitoring, and culturally aligned content delivery.
