In 2019, Strauss Group collaborated with Hilan to deploy Hilan Pension as a Pension Administration solution for Strauss Water employees in Israel. The initial work focused on a pilot of the Hilan Pension Mobile app to show employees the status of pension payments, delivering mobile self service visibility and improving transparency for staff in Israel.
The implementation of Hilan Pension was structured as a pension administration deployment integrated with Hilan's payroll and time and attendance ecosystem, enabling automated exchange of payroll contribution and attendance data for pension calculation. Functional capabilities emphasized in the deployment included employee facing pension payment status via the mobile app, administrative pension records and workflows, and payroll interfaces to synchronize contribution data.
Governance and rollout began as a collaborative pilot between Strauss Water and Hilan, with the pilot validating mobile self service workflows and operational data flows before broader rollouts. The project affected HR and payroll operations in the Israel employee population, aligning pension administration processes with existing payroll and time and attendance systems, and produced the stated outcome of increased transparency for employees.
